I am privileged to walk this journey with you. I provide a safe, non-judgemental environment to support you doing this critical time of healing and growth. When you’re feeling vulnerable you want to feel nurtured which gives you the space to find your resilience.

I have experienced suffering and understand the journey of working through internal conflict. I appreciate the challenges associated with leading a busy city life. Juggling work and family commitments, finding the discipline to exercise, choosing healthy food, spending time with friends and making space for creative quests.

My years of experience in conventional psychiatry made me aware that the majority of our patients had symptom relief, but didn’t achieve full recovery or the optimal health they desired. In the emergency room, we called it the “Revolving Door” issue. Patients repeatedly returned seeking help and often just received a change in prescription, only to be sent out again. Many patients sought non-drug solutions which often are not available in large healthcare environments. Our bodies have the innate ability to heal, we need to support this rather than inhibit it.

Integrative and Functional medicine offers the framework to achieve this state of well-being.
